Fed Up can be previewed below
Synopsis: Upending the conventional wisdom of why we gain weight and how to lose it, Fed Up unearths a dirty secret of the American food industry-far more of us get sick from what we eat than anyone has previously realized. Filmmaker Stephanie Soechtig and TV journalist Katie Couric lead us through this potent exposé that uncovers why-despite media attention, the public's fascination with appearance, and government policies to combat childhood obesity-generations of American children will now live shorter lives than their parents did.
More about the producers at the event:
Canal Junction Meats will have samplesof their cheese and information about their free-range, Non-GMO meat products
Black Creek Organic Farm will have their 2016 CSA sign up information and jars of honey for you to buy
Staci Stevens, health coach, will have some snacks for you to try and you can ask her your health coaching questions. Ask her about goal setting, your autoimmune condition, or whatever you wish! She is knowledgeable in the nutrition and food world.
Hartsburg Farms will feature their eggs, chicken, tools, and hoop houses (think greenhouses that are more economical). They are new produce producers this year and are ready to hit the ground running!
