5 Things to Change in Your Home For Wellness

  1. Change your florescent bulbs to white/ soft white. Florescent light is not helpful for your circadian rhythm. It's an easy enough change to do!

  2. Shut off Wi-Fi devices when not in use. Shut off your router at night, put your phones in airplane mode, and allow some certain times of the day to be Wi-Fi Free

  3. Throw out the bubble bath and antibacterial harsh soaps and replace them with a simple foaming option: 5 parts filtered water to 1 part Dr. Bronner's Castile soap. My kids love to use it in the bath and they also use at each sink in our house. It's gentle and does the trick.

  4. Have 2 tablespoons of a fermented food each day. Could you eat sauerkraut with your lunch? Or drink water kefir each afternoon? There are options and they are immensely beneficial to your immunity and overall health.

  5. Get rid of the tylenol and OTC drugs for when pain and illness hits. Instead, use turmeric for pain (can get in capsule form), use honey and ginger for colds, use yarrow and elderberry for flu. More ideas for remedies from Wellness Mama.
